To all crew.

We are joining "Sim Central" which is not technically a fleet, but rather a simming/RPG community. It still allows us to do what we are doing with no restrictions and it brings the ship into a wider community of good people.

They have very simple and little rules, one of which is for crew on affiliated ships/sims to join their Discord server. This is so you can simply interact with them and enjoy being part of the wider community, its a good idea and there are good conversations and channels to enjoy.

» New Mission!

To all crew

I am moving us forward and onto a new mission. The Ermiana will be calling a Deep Space 9 to pick up specialist equipment and additional crew. We will then be going to the Badlands along the Cardassian Border. Our mission is to continue the search for the USS Voyager NCC 74656.

We will be also encountering Maquis and the Cardassians, so get ready for some sneaky stuff to happen here and there. Of course we won't be able to locate Voyager in the end as per Star Trek Canon, but that doesn't mean we can't try. I'll be starting a post with a mission briefing shortly.

Lets get back to writing!

» Christmas and New Years + Mission Update

To all crew.

I hope that you have had a good Christmas season and have spent it with friends, family and loved ones. I understand that this year has been difficult for many of us, especially with the outbreak of COVID 19 impacting so much of our daily lives. However these times will not last forever and a brighter future is on the horizon I assure you.

The Ermiana hasn't been around very long as we started in April. However I am happy to report that in those eight months we have achieved 97 Mission Posts! Thats an average of 12 a month, so 3 a week. Thats not a bad pace at all! Especially for a new sim.

I want to thankyou all for your participation. I understand that in recent weeks I have not been around as much as work has got in the way of my simming time. However this should start to ease off in the new year, its always a rush towards the Christmas season. So hopefully we should start seeing more activity as well.

From me to you, I want to wish you all the best wishes for the new year, stay safe and look after one another! Now back to the Studio for a mission update...

Mission Update

The Ermiana is currently in orbit around Veridian Three salvaging the componants of the USS Enterprise D. This is the plan of events which I think we should work towards.

- The Klingons Learn of the Trilithium Weapon. They may obtain the data from probing the Enterprise's Computer Core. Maybe they sneak aboard in the night, or they somehow create an uplink.
- The Klingons will continue to search and harrass our auxiliary craft, causing the Ermiana to be more protective and essentially chasing them off everytime they decloak.
- The Starfleet and Civilian Engineers will learn that the Klingons have somehow accessed the Enterprise's Computer Core, but are not sure what they have got. The Computer Core will then be removed immediately and dismantled to be taken aboard the Ermiana.
- We will then remove the Enterprise's Phaser Arrays and Tactical Systems, including Tactical Sensors and the Structural Integrity grid generators.
- The Ermiana will intercept a Subspace Transmission from the Klingon ship to other House of Duras Vessels that they have obtained the Trilithium Superweapon that Lursa and Betor obtained fromd Dr Soran. The Klingon Vessel claims they will have a prototype built and will be testing it within a few days.
- Starfleet Orders the Ermiana to prevent the construction of the Trilithium Weapon. It takes priority over supervising and co-ordinating the salvage operation of the Enterprise. We will then begin to take measures to detect and find the Klingon vessel whilst it is cloaked.
- Two Avenues here, we can either find a way through the Klingon Cloak or they can Decloak by themselves. Either way, The Klingon Vessel and the Ermiana will engage in a skirmish. This will end when the Klingon Vessel launches a solar probe towards the Veridian Star.
- The Ermiana will then chase the Solar Probe to try and destroy it before it destroys the sun.
- More options here. We can either do the following:
- The Probe Destroys the Veridian Star, causing a Level 12 Shockwave. We will then only have a few minutes to evacuate anyone on the planet and leave the system before we are destroyed. The Klingon ship doesn't make it and is destroyed in the shockwave.
- The Probe is shot down by the Ermiana and it doesn't reach the star. We then go back to dealing with the Klingons, disabling their vessel and destroying all the data on the Trilithium Weapon and theory by Dr Soran.
- The Probe reaches the star, but doesn't work. It simply burns up in the stars Corona. The Klingons blame their failure on Starfleet and since it doesn't work they decide to not to bother with the Trilthium Weapon or theory again.

» Christmas/Holidays Mission - The Polar Express

To all crew.

I have set up a side mission for us to write in. This mission will be open until mid January and will NOT take place in any timeline. Its just to have some fun and do a little bit of Christmas Themed Writing.

This year, Captain Misaka and any senior staff that wish to participate will be taking the Ermiana's children on a journey to the North Pole to see Santa Clause on Christmas Eve.



This is how the side mission will work out:

- Our wonderful steam train will pick up the children one by one from their 'quarters'. We'll do some very clever Holodeck/Transporter thingy here to make it all look 'magical'.
- We'll set off for The North Pole, on our train with the children on board. These will be the crew's children and obviously their parents know what we'll be doing. Its all for a bit of fun and to keep the magic of Christmas alive.
- Hot chocolate being served! Yay!
- Of course something will go wrong, maybe we'll lose a ticket, maybe we'll drift a train over a lake? Who knows.
- We'll eventually get to the North Pole to see Santa Clause.
- Then Santa will select a child and give out the first gift of Christmas.

Now there are several positions that need filling, complete with costumes.

Train Fireman: Available
Train Crew/Hot Chocolate Servers: Available
Children: Anyone who wants to NPC a child

How about we have a little bit of magical fun. I'll be starting a post shortly to get us kicked off. This is completely voluntary, but its all for some fun.

» Current Ship & World Situation

To all crew.

I hope this news item comes to find you all well. After knowing that a lot of us have been affected in someway regarding the global pandemic of Covid 19, I have been lenient in posting requirements.

However, I am hoping that in the next few weeks to get the ship back upto an active state. I understand that times are difficult, but could I kindly ask for 2 tags in a joint or solo post a week. Thats not a posted post, just a tag back etc.

I would appreciate it if you could all touch base with me regarding this. I can help you with getting something started or catch you up on current ship events. This is a great ship and you're all my crew and friends. Let's get moving again.
