The United Star Ship Ermiana is a Galaxy Class Starship launched by Starfleet in the year 2371 under command of Captain Mikoto Misaka. The USS Ermiana was constructed and launched in response to the loss of the USS Odyssey which was destroyed by the Jem'Hadar on a mission to the Gamma Quadrant to rescue Captain Benjamin Sisko.
