Welcome aboard the USS Ermiana!

Star_Trek_Ermiana_Mission_Patch.png"The difference between the novice and the master is that the master has failed more times than the novice has tried"

Welcome aboard the USS Ermiana. The year is 2371, the "Cold War" between The United Federation of Planets and The Dominion has begun. One year ago the Federation Starship USS Odyssey was destroyed by The Dominion as a show of force to the Federation that they will no longer tolerate incursions into their space.

The Ermiana, a brand new Galaxy Class Starship launches in this time of uneasy peace. The Galaxy has never seen a threat like The Dominion since the Borg Invasion of 2367, four years ago when 39 Starships were destroyed in The Battle of Wolf 359. Now The Federation faces the Dominion and decreasing relations from the Cardassian Union and Klingon Empire.

Will you be part of History? Welcome to the Ermiana, one Starship which will face it all.

To all crew!

I am proud to announce that the USS Ermiana has won an award through the Tournament of Sims for the year 2022. (There was a slight delay in judging due to some judges having real life issues).

Anyways, congratulations to you all! We have achieved the award of 'Great Star Trek.

Our sim was judged by three inpartial judges, which had this to say about our first adventure 'Cleaning up'.

Judge 1:

'This sim does a great job with lots of JPs among its players.'

To all crew.

We are joining "Sim Central" which is not technically a fleet, but rather a simming/RPG community. It still allows us to do what we are doing with no restrictions and it brings the ship into a wider community of good people.

They have very simple and little rules, one of which is for crew on affiliated ships/sims to join their Discord server. This is so you can simply interact with them and enjoy being part of the wider community, its a good idea and there are good conversations and channels to enjoy.

Can I please ask for…

To all crew

I am moving us forward and onto a new mission. The Ermiana will be calling a Deep Space 9 to pick up specialist equipment and additional crew. We will then be going to the Badlands along the Cardassian Border. Our mission is to continue the search for the USS Voyager NCC 74656.

We will be also encountering Maquis and the Cardassians, so get ready for some sneaky stuff to happen here and there. Of course we won't be able to locate Voyager in the end as per Star Trek Canon, but that doesn't mean we can't try.…

To all crew.

I hope that you have had a good Christmas season and have spent it with friends, family and loved ones. I understand that this year has been difficult for many of us, especially with the outbreak of COVID 19 impacting so much of our daily lives. However these times will not last forever and a brighter future is on the horizon I assure you.

The Ermiana hasn't been around very long as we started in April. However I am happy to report that in those eight months we have achieved 97 Mission Posts! Thats an average of…

To all crew.

I have set up a side mission for us to write in. This mission will be open until mid January and will NOT take place in any timeline. Its just to have some fun and do a little bit of Christmas Themed Writing.

This year, Captain Misaka and any senior staff that wish to participate will be taking the Ermiana's children on a journey to the North Pole to see Santa Clause on Christmas Eve.

This is how the side mission will work out:

- Our wonderful steam train will pick up the children one by one…

Mission: Atlantic Trouble
Posted on Thu Apr 10th, 2025 @ 5:12am by Lieutenant Aleksandra Litvyak 'Sanya'

Sanya made her way to sickbay to report in to her boss, Felicie Giehl. Giehl was Sanya's rank equal, a fellow Lieutenant. But that hadn't stopped Sanya from being nervous off her ass. She had begged, pleaded even, to have Eila accompany her. However, Eila remained firm in her stance, as she didn't want to make the department heads nervous by being there as the ship's XO. However, she had told her girlfriend to remember everything they had talked about over the years, and Sanya would be just fine.

And remembering their talks was the only thing keeping Sanya from…

Mission: Atlantic Trouble
Posted on Sun Mar 9th, 2025 @ 1:03pm by Lieutenant James Henderson

The helm team gathered in Ten Forward, laughter and conversation filling the air as we shared stories from past missions. The aroma of Bajoran hasperat and Andorian ale created a warm and inviting atmosphere, a delightful blend of spice and tang that lingered on our palates. It was moments like these that reminded us of the camaraderie we had built, the bonds that made us more than just colleagues.

After the helm team dispersed, I ambled through the corridors of the USS Ermiana, the gentle hum of the warp core a soothing background melody. The stars outside the large viewport…

Mission: Atlantic Trouble

It was early evening on the RMS Olympic. Dinner service was provided for all passengers. However there was a noticeable difference in what was served. First Class had more options and even had the option of eating at the A la Carte restaurant on B Deck or the first class dining room. However the A la Carte was not included in the ticket price. Second and Third Class passengers had their own separate dining rooms lower in the ship.

The food on the Olympic was exquisite for the time, especially in First Class which could have upto eleven courses.

Lurath stood outside the shuttle bay doors. A bottle of Bloodwine in his hand that was given to him by his father. He had several stored away, but to take one out for an old warrior like Rorek was a sign of honor, especially if it was his favorite vintage. A favorite vintage that the Dahar Master shared with his father. His old friend and blood brother. He remembered hearing of their great adventures an hanging on their every word. Sure the tales of two Klingon Warriors could be exaggerated, but it didn't matter. As a young boy, Lurath couldn't…

"Science Officers Log, Lieutenant Commander Sonak recording. The Ermiana has arrived in the Zeta Galen system, where we have been assigned to survey a class seventeen nebula. Ermiana is scheduled to conduct the survey, estimated to take four point two seven days. The nebula did not appear on the previous survey of the Zeta Galen system. This survey, conducted and recorded on Stardate 11428, was conducted by probes only, with now crewed expedition taking place. Such a nebula being missed from the initial survey is an unlikely occurrence, and…

Computer, begin log.

Commander Emma Crandall of the USS Gandhi was an inspiration for me to move beyond the events that transpired on the USS Hera. It's strange to think that discrimination can take many forms, even the visage of the stalwart and logical Vulcans, but nonetheless I feel it happened. There was no harshness to it, just ... a feeling. Captain Silva La Forge of the Hera seemed to be the most level headed of the bunch, but I felt that her First Officer was not. Regardless, I was given a transfer and promotion - perhaps to sooth whatever…

First officer's log,

Man, it still feels weird to say that... Anyway, Sanya and I recently made it aboard the Ermiana, where I'm slated to take over as Executive Officer.

I must admit, this command thing is going to take a bit of getting used to. I mean, considering how quickly they made me take the Kobayashi Maru; it was almost as if they had made up their minds that this was my destiny before I had even completed the exam. I don't know; perhaps good command officers are getting harder to come by these days...

Either way, what really…

"Dr. Alice Kendall reporting for duty. As I speak, I am being brought aboard by a runabout to my new assignment, the USS Ermiana. I look forward to meeting the crew, especially the captain. As every Starfleet crewman learns, the captain of a ship is more than a man or a woman, they are a force of nature. I assume this captain shall be no different." She looked around the runabout at the uncomfortable ensign that was crammed behind a wall of flowers and other flora. Reluctantly, she added, "Let the record show that the use of a six-man runabout…

I need to get packed and go and find Lt Scott Tracy, my partner.
