Starfleet Uniforms

Starfleet has a uniform policy which must be followed by all serving officers and enlisted when on duty. All officers and enlisted are provided with three 'sets' of full uniform from the ships quartermaster. Each uniform is equipped with a microscopic chip that can be used for identification purposes.

Standard Duty Uniform

This is the Standard Duty Uniform used on the USS Ermiana. The uniforms are the "Type B" uniforms used and comprise of a two piece undershirt with tunic and long trousers. Rank pips are displayed on the collar and comm badges are worn on the user's left. These uniforms are now being used on most Starfleet Starships and Space Stations.

Short Sleeve Variant

The USS Ermiana also has a 'short sleeved' variant of the Standard duty uniform for the use of officers. This variant is not often seen as most officers opt for the long sleeved standard uniform. However this uniform is available for use by crew on the USS Ermiana.

Undershirts

The Standard Uniform is a 'two piece' meaning that an undershirt must be worn. These undershirts come in the following variants.

Standard Undershirt. Sleeves can be removed for short sleeve uniform variant	'T-Shirt' Style Off Undershirt. Off-Duty Only	'Cropped' Exercise Undershirt. Off-Duty & Female Only

Dress Uniforms

Dress Uniforms are more formal uniforms and should be worn for special occassions. Such occassions may include diplomatic occassions, formal events such as weddings, funerals or trials. Dress Uniforms are made of a one piece long shirt and standard duty uniform trousers. Dress Uniforms are to be kept clean and must be presentable at all times.

Medical Variant

There is a medical coat which can be worn by medical staff. This coat is an addition to any standard duty uniform and allows protection of the uniform when operating and serving in sickbay. The medical coat is reserved mainly for officers working on a surgery or the Chief Medical Officer.
