Location: Main Engineering

Pete Carter had come aboard the late the night before, he was to exhausted to go and check things in engineers first. He stepped off the lift at deck 36, as he rounded the corner and expected the doors to open only to walk face first into the door breaking his nose. "Son of a bitch." He said leaning down with his face in his hands dripping blood between his fingers. Just that moment an engineering team walks through the door. "Mother ..... " Carter swore under his breath.

"We just installed that carpeting you're bleeding all over crewmen." One of the Engineers said to Carter who finally managed to pull a handkerchief from his pocket to stop the bleeding.

Carter grunted and walked past them into the main gallery of Engineering, when he finally stood in front of the warp core he was able to pull the cloth away from his face and look around. "Hello beautiful. My names Pete."
